AND I DID FIND, I SENT AN EMAIL TO THE PERSON WHO WAS, UH, NAMED IN THAT ARTICLE, AND IT'S PART OF THE DCNR COMMUNITY CONSERVATION PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM GRANTS.

ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH THAT? YEAH, I'M, I'M FAMILIAR WITH THE DCNR GRANT, BUT NOT THIS ONE SPECIFICALLY.

AND UNDER, UNDER THESE COMMUNITY CONSERVATION PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM GRANTS, UH, THE ONE THAT THEY RECEIVED, WHICH WAS, UM, FRENCH AND PICKERING TRUST WAS THE RIVER CONSERVATION AND COMMUNITY GRANT NOW, SO, SO, BUT THEY PROBABLY RECEIVED THE GRANT FROM LAST YEAR'S, RIGHT? RIGHT.

THEY PROBABLY PUT IT IN LAST YEAR AND GOT IT FOR 24.

SO THERE ARE GRANTS AVAILABLE THIS YEAR, BUT WE'D HAVE TO HAVE IT IN BY THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF APRIL.

PATTY IS CONSTANTLY WORKING ON THIS, AND AS THINGS DRIBBLE IN, WE'RE STILL TRYING TO, TO CATCH UP JUST TO WHAT HAS AN HOA, WHAT DOESN'T HAVE AN HOA, WHAT'S RUN BY, UM, SOME HOA BUSINESSES VERSUS A A SPECIFIC PERSON? UM, WHAT WE'RE RUNNING INTO IS A LOT OF THEM ARE RUN BY MANAGEMENT COMPANIES AT THIS POINT.

THEY DON'T HAVE AN HOA, THE STORMWATER BASINS ARE MANAGED, TAKEN CARE OF BY THE PEOPLE WHO THE, IT'S LIKE THERE'S A HOUSE HERE AND IT'S ON THEIR PROPERTY.

SO THEY JUST HAVE AN EXTRA LARGE LOT WITH THE STORMWATER BASIN ON IT.

SO, BUT THERE'S NO HOA, BUT THERE'S NO HOA.

AND THOSE ARE ALSO, WE WANT TO TALK TO THOSE PEOPLE, YOU KNOW, THE PEOPLE WHO OWN THOSE.

SO YOU NEED TO HAVE A HOMEOWNER'S ASSOCIATION TO DO IT UNLESS YOU SUBDIVIDE THAT LARGE OPEN SPACE AND MAKE IT JUST LARGER LOTS FOR EVERYBODY.

AND ALL OF THE MECHANICALS, AND YOU CAN HAVE THE STORMWATER BASIN COULD BE ON A COUPLE DIFFERENT LOTS, BUT ALL OF THE MECHANICAL OPERATION PART OF IT HAS TO BE ON ONE PERSON'S LOT.

AND THEY HAVE TO UNDERSTAND AND SIGN AN OPERATION MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WHEN THEY BUY THE HOUSE.

ULTIMATELY THE TOWNSHIP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF ITS STORM, ITS OWN STORMWATER FACILITIES, WHETHER IT'S ON PRIVATE PROPERTY OR PUBLIC PROPERTY.

SO THEN THAT GIVES THE SHIP TO, RIGHT.

SO NOW THAT'S WHY WE HAVE AN OPERATION MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT AND ALL THE OTHER STUFF.

IF WE FIND ONE A BASIN, LET'S JUST SAY, THAT ISN'T UP TO OUR STANDARDS OR OUR NEW STANDARD, IF WE WANT THEM ALL TO BECOME LIKE GARDENS OF SOME KIND.
