AND A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE.

PEOPLE THAT LIVE THERE HAVE LIVED THERE, THE WHOLE LIVES.

I'M GOING TO BE 42.

I LIVE THERE MY WHOLE LIFE.

THAT'S WHERE I WAS BORN.

MY PARENTS ARE 78.

AND OVER ON THE PERKIOMEN CREEK TO THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IDA AND SAY, AGNES BACK IN THE SEVENTIES IS IDAHO HAPPENED IN A 12 HOUR PERIOD.

WE, THE GROUND WAS ALREADY SODDEN.

WE HAD SEVEN TO EIGHT INCHES OF RAIN IN AUGUST, AND THEN WE GOT 12 TO 13 INCHES OF RAIN IN 12 TO 13 HOURS.

AND THE SCHUYLKILL RIVER DOES NOT NORMALLY FLASH FLOOD THAT WAS CONSIDERED BECAUSE OF THE SPEED OF HOW FAST THE WATER CAME UP, A FLASH FLOOD.

SO IT WAS NOT SOMETHING THAT WAS EXPECTED.

UM, WE'RE PUTTING A NEW COMMUNICATION PLAN IN PLACE AND THE CONDITION IS WHEN WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE RIGHT.

WE'RE MONITORING THOSE RIVER GAUGES.

AND WE HOPE TO GET THE NOTICE OUT SOONER.

THE OTHER PIECE OF IT, OF COURSE, AND KNOW, I KNOW, YOU KNOW, THIS IS GOING ON.

BEMA IS ATTEMPTING TO BUY OUT AS MANY OF THOSE HOMES THAT ARE IN THE WORST PART OF THE FLOODPLAIN.

WE'RE GOING TO DEMOLISH THEM.

NOBODY'S GOING TO EVER LIVE THERE AGAIN.

SO THAT IS ONE WAY TO ELIMINATE THE PROBLEM, BUT WE ARE WORKING ON IT.

I WENT TO SLEEP, MY BOYFRIEND WENT OUT AND HE MOVED THE ROCK.

THE WATER WENT DOWN 10 TO 20 FEET FROM THE ROCK.

HE WENT OUT 20, 30 MINUTES LATER, COULDN'T EVEN GET TO THE ROCK.

HAS YOU STEPPED OFF OF MY DECK INTO THE SCOOPABLE? YEP.

SO THAT IS LIKE THAT'S HOW DID THE WATER RECEDE AND THEN LIKE, IT JUST DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

LIKE THE FI LIKE ONE OF THE FIREMEN CAME DOWN AND REMOVED THE CONE, TURNED DOWN CANAL STREET.

LAST TIME THAT HAPPENED, YOU HAD A PERSON FROM OUT OF TOWN THAT WAS AT A HOTEL AND FOLLOWED, UH, YOU KNOW, THEIR SIRI OR WHATEVER.

AND THEY TURNED RIGHT DOWN CANAL STREET NEAR THE RIVER.

SO IF THEY KNEW IT WAS FLOODED, WHY WOULD THEY COME DOWN AND MOVE THE CONE? LIKE IT WAS OKAY TO DO THAT AND LEAVE AND NOT SAY ANYTHING.

AND MY SON SAW THAT, LIKE, THERE'S JUST A LOT OF THINGS THAT HAVEN'T, I FEEL LIKE THE NO DRESS.

AND IT WAS JUST LIKE, IF SOMEONE DOESN'T SAY SOMETHING, I JUST LIKE, IT'S NEVER GOING TO BE ADDRESSED AGAIN.

UH, SO SERGEANT HILORIE SPOKE TO BOTH, UM, WHAT WE DISCOVERED WAS ACCORDING TO THE CONTRACTOR, THE REASON HE CHOSE THAT ROUTE, UH, IT WAS A, BASICALLY A SAFETY MEASURE FOR HIS DRIVERS OF MAKING CERTAIN TURNS, UH, WHICH WOULD BE EASIER IN THE RIGS THAT THEY WERE DRIVING AND IT IS GOING TO BE A TEMPORARY, UH, ISSUE.

SO IT'S NOT GOING TO BE LONG LASTING, UH, SHORTER THAT, UM, THERE'S REALLY NOT A, UH, POLICE OPTION HERE.

UH, BUT AGAIN, I THINK THE IMPORTANT THING HERE IS THAT IT'S TEMPORARY AND NOT PERMANENT.

THE TAYLOR FARM PUMP STATION IS ONGOING.

WE'RE PROVIDING EXHIBITS FOR PREPARATION OF THE PLANNING MODULE BY THE APPLICANT AND CONTINUING ON WITH GREENWOOD AVENUE, SIDEWALK AND ITEM.

UM, SO WE'RE TALKING PROBABLY MINIMUM 20 FEET TOTAL THE RIGHT OF WAY WOULD BE A MINIMUM OF 10 AND BREAK CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT 10 FEET BEYOND THAT.

UM, THERE ARE A LOT OF LARGE CALIPER TREES OUT THERE, BIG DIAMETER TREES.

SO THE RESIDENTS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT THEIR BUFFER THAT THEY CURRENTLY HAVE, YOU KNOW, ALONG GREENWOOD AVENUE, WOULDN'T BE THERE.
